Municipal museum Gevaert-MinnePrint
The museum is housed in the listed home of painter Edgar Gevaert. His wife Marie opened his studio to the public after his death. People could go there to view works by her husband and her father, sculptor George Minne. When she died, the municipality of Sint-Martens-Latem purchased the house and established the Gevaert-Minne museum in it. It also holds work by other Latem school artists.
The extraordinary house was built by Gevaert himself in the 1920s. It has distinctive characteristics, including Gothic elements and certain features of the then popular cottage style.
